Oz - Australian Zoo

There wasn't really much choice in our decision to go to Australia Zoo. Our tour guide had booked us in for 2 extra nights in Noosa, apparently we'd like it, but I can assure you it isn't a happening place so we had nothing else to do. It was quite a good day out, it's a long time since I had been to a zoo. This particular one was owned by Steve Irwin and has a strong eco friendly/animal welfare message which is good. I was particularly excited to see koalas and to feed the kangeroos - which are so sweet. The show was pretty good aswell, especially when they sent birds flying all over the place, although it was utter Ozzy cheese. I also was a fan of the elephants but not of the rain - which we had all afternoon.
Some pics from the day:

We had a whole rainy day to fill the next day. We lay in and then ended up in the cinema watching the Proposal which was very funny. In the evening we went out to the pub for a Tribal Travel night (our tour agency) and got a free BBQ. The next morning I was very happy to be finally leaving Noosa, lovely place....for a day.
