NZ - Queenstown

The next stop was Queenstown, we drove via Arrowtown and had a little look, mainly at the Remarkable Sweet Shop. When in QT we made a massive error and decided to stay in BASE. They are party hostels i.e. noisy, rubbish facilities and generally people with bad chat and very little consideration for others but it was the same price as everywhere else, central and Alexa's mate was staying there. We couldn't find Bethany (Alexa's friend from school) so we went for a wander around town, cooked some dinner and headed down to the bar where we had quite a good night with some randoms we aquired.

The next morning we found Bethany and discovered how little there is to do in QT unless you have a lot of money or ski. We opted for one of the only free activities which was Frisbee golf in the park. We just happened to be starting at the same time as a couple of guys so we played with them.

After frisbee golf we all went out for coffee at an Argentinian Coffee house and then faffed in the hostel until dinner time where we had a famous Fergburger. We got a Bambi and a Cockodoodle Oink which were yummy and massive:

That evening we got to know each other a bit better with some drinking games before hitting the town again for a dance with Alex and Hayden, two more of Alexa's friends from home!

We had a slow start the next day, slightly dazed from lack of sleep. Bethany went off to jump off a cliff (bungy) so Alexa and I decided to be productive and climb the hill and get a view over Queenstown.

That evening we had a quiet one and said goodbye to Bethany.
