NZ - Rotorua
We arrived in Roturoa around 5pm and found a hostel, Cactus Jacks, and then went out for free coffee which was exciting. We had another lazy evening watching another girly movie with some English girls. The next morning we wandered around town and bought some warm clothes before going to sit by the lake:
and then walking around the volcanically active park:

In the afternoon we went up the Skyline which is a gondola and has great views over the city and lake. Once up there we did the luge, which is dry tobogganing and then a "skyswing" which just came as part of the package and we hadn't anticipated being so scary. Turns out you sit in a cage, get pulled way up into the air, released and you reach 150kph in 2seconds! I screamed my head off, I was genuinely petrified but the adrenaline rush afterwards was amazing! It was great fun. We then did another luge and went back down to town.

We went for a free drink in the Pig and Whistle pub, making the most of any vouchers we get given, and then tried out the hot tub in the hostel. In the evening we went to a Maori Culture show at Mitai and Rainbow Springs. Pictures to follow.
