NZ - Wellington, visiting Sue!

After Waitomo we drove to Wellington to see Sue! I was really excited! We arrived pretty early and so wandered around in the pouring rain and sat in an internet cafe for most of the afternoon. That evening we stayed in with all of Sue's house and she cooked us salmon parcels (very posh).

On Saturday morning we went to pilates with Sue and Karen and then after lunch we all we out for a wander around town. We walked along the marina, had a beer and then went into town to window shop. This is me, Sue, Karen, Alexa and Harriet:


In the evening we went out to a comedy festival show and saw an Irish girl perform, Mavae Higgins. She was really good. Afterwards we all went home and drunk a bit much wine and got ready. It turned out to be a really good night because there were loads of Sue's friends out. We went to this bar called Alice's where they served cocktails in tea pots and tea cups!


Spent the majority of the next day sleeping, went to the fruit and veg market, cooking and watching tv. In the evening we watched a ridiculous movie and had amazing lamb!
